A family, including small children, or a couple wanting a bit of extra room, will find the accommodations at Bahia Laguna very appealing. That is assuming that the swimming pool right outside the door and the 500' of private Caribbean beach a few steps farther are also on the must have list. The kids will face the challenge of climbing the sand "mountains" built on the beach or feeding the turtles in the courtyard pond while the parents might sneak away to enjoy the very, very private roof top sundeck.

On the seaside of the building is a “family” style pool designed especially with children in mind. It features a series of plateaus-- (also great for adults working on a tan while staying cool)- - enabling children of any age to enjoy water at their comfort depth within arms reach of lounging parents. There is a water slide for the swimmers as well as one (separated) side of the pool designed for lap swimming. A fence surrounds the pool, enclosing a large pool side sand play area.

The apartment is an 1116 square foot, fully furnished home, containing an enclosed seafront porch with hammock, ceiling fan, table and chairs; living room with couch, loveseat, table and chairs; kitchen furnished with refrigerator, range, dishwasher, disposal and microwave oven; laundry with washer and dryer; bathroom; bedroom with queen-size bed, TV, and a large “convertible” closet/office/kids bedroom furnished with bunk beds and a single bed. Ceiling fans are in all rooms and air conditioners are fitted to the living room and bedroom. The flooring is Spanish clay tile.

A private sea-shielded parking area is adjacent to each apartment. Short term guests are also provided with use of bicycles, internet hookup, all necessary kitchen pots, pans, dishes and silverware, toilet paper, soaps, towels, and bedding.

Two other resorts with restaurants are only a few hundred feet away. Seine Bight Village restaurants, takeouts, and mini-stores are also within walking distance. Bahia Laguna can arrange air travel reservations for flights between the Belize International Airport and the Placencia Airstrip which includes airstrip pickup/return and baggage handling at no extra charge. We will shop and provision for arrival if provided with a list.

Bahia Laguna is located on the beach on the Placencia Peninsula, just north of Seine Bight Village and 2 miles north of the Placencia Airstrip. It is situated on 10 acres of land fronting 500 feet on the Caribbean Sea and extends westward across the peninsula to include 500' frontage on the Placencia Lagoon.

A lagoon marina area has been partially excavated.

Rental Policies: $1000/week for up to two adults and minor children. $160/night/3 night minimum for up to two adults and minor children. Monthly: Please Inquire: $25 per night for each additional adult. (No tax, service charge, gratuities, fees or other add-ons or charges. Everything is included except outside activities.) DEPOSIT AMOUNT AND WHEN DUE TO GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY: 30% at time of reservation, balance 30 days before arrival. (If unpaid, reservation will be considered cancelled & offered to others.) Payment by check or money order must be allowed to clear 30 days. Last minute standbys must pay in US currency upon arrival. No reservation will be held unless fully paid. CANCELLATION POLICY: 10% cancellation fee up to 20 days before arrival. No refund after that unless unit is rented by someone else.
