Casa Picaflores is a 3-bedroom, 2 bath vacation home on the eastern edge of the Caribbean National Forest, "El Yunque," in Puerto Rico. Nestled among fruit trees on six acres of private rain forest, Casa Picaflores is a great place for vacationing couples, families, and hiking groups, easily sleeping up to six adults, plus a couple of small children. Minutes from hiking trails, Taino Indian petroglyphs, spectacular beaches, and ferries to the islands of Culebra and Vieques, we offer a quiet, exclusive way to get away from the hustle and bustle of San Juan, while seeing the best side of Puerto Rico. Hot breakfast is available daily through purchase of a meal plan. It includes a fruit platter; a starch such as pancakes, waffles, or quesitos; a hot breakfast meat; toast or bagels, and orange juice, coffee, and tea. The breakfast meal plan is an additional $10 per adult, $5 per child between 4-12, per day. Breakfast is delivered any time you want it between 8-11 a.m. We also offer a couples special during our peak season of $150/night.
After, a day at the beach or hiking, come home and chill out. The property features a small river cascading through the rain forest, where cool pools are overshadowed by immense boulders, towering trees, and ferns galore, all in the privacy of your very own, six- acre hideaway. Grill out on the spacious, tiled deck, or let us cook for you in El Bohio, a small, screened-in dining area in the jungle. Hang out in the 7-person hot tub, and sign up for a massage with our professional massage therapist.
The house has a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, another bedroom with choice of king or double twin beds, and the third bedroom, with futons, doubles as an entertainment center, with satellite television, DVD/CD, and surround sound system.

Rental Policies:
Two night minimum stay December-March. $200 damage/excessive cleanup
deposit required, in the form of a personal check, due upon arrival.
Check is returned at the end of your stay, provided that no
unreasonable damage has occurred. 50% deposit is required to confirm
reservations. No pets (yours OR ours) or smoking allowed in the
house. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction from
the property without any refund. Dogs can sometimes be kept outside;
call to discuss. |
